Vegan Links and Resources

This is an excellent book about going vegan. This book is pretty much what made me decide to cut out all dairy, eggs, and other animal products. Skinny Bitch talks about cutting out sugars too. I am working on that…..

Vegan Vagrant

A great vegan blog with some really cool stuff. Beautiful pictures, recipes, contests, and love; what more could you ask for? Also, an excellent tweeter!
A great magazine that comes out every other month with lots of great recipes and articles about vegan life and culture.
Say what you want about PETA, but they are pretty much the premiere group supporting and promoting a cruelty free life. Although some of their methods maybe a little different, you have to give them so much credit for what they have done.
Isa Chandra Moskovitch is a god among vegans…. Her recipes are amazing, easy, and I feel like we would be friends.
Since they can explain what they do better than I can, this is direct from their website, “Vegan Action is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping animals, the environment, and human health by educating the public about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle and encouraging the spread of vegan food options through our public outreach campaigns.”
MFA is another great non-profit animal advocacy group working for compassion and respect for all animals. Their founder is a young guy who just seems really cool.
TKL is a blog, book, and world created by actress and rock star vegan Alicia Silverstone. Her blog is awesome and she always shares some really cool stuff. Definitely worth following her and reading more about The Kind Life.
Vegan Collection is a super cool online store that sells great vegan belts, wallets, shoes etc. I have a belt and wallet from there and I rock them on a regular basis. Best part about this place is that they donate a portion of their proceeds to animal charities. You can even pick which ones you want your part to go to. So sweet!
Veg Web is pretty much the premiere recipe website for all things vegan. If you can dream it, I am sure someone has veganized it and you can find it on here. No guarantee that all the recipes are tasty, but it’s a good bet.
The Shannons are this super cool vegan power couple that are veganizing the entire Betty Crocker cookbook. You know the one that all of your moms had with the red and white cover. Daunting task, but pretty incredible.

Your Daily Vegan

Another great vegan website / blog / source of awesomeness. They were also voted the best tweeter from Veg News!
This list is no way exhaustive and I will try and add to it as much as I can. Comment on any suggestions you think I should add!
